American Records Management is a Western New York owned and operated company which provides the latest in records management technology. American Records Management operates an 18,000 sq. ft. building in the Grand Island Research and Industrial Park. The facility is centrally located within 20 minutes of down town Buffalo, Niagara Falls, the airport and most surrounding business centers.

Security and safeguards – American Records Management has employed ADT Security to install and provide 24 hour monitoring of a security system. Motion detection systems along with monitors on all doors insure the security of the office and warehouse. In the unlikely potential of an intrusion, local police are summoned immediately through the central station monitoring.

The fire sprinkler system has been designed to protect a Class III commodity (paper products), non-encapsulated, installed on rack shelving with open shelves up to 25’. Sprinkler design density complies with the National Fire Protection Association Standard 13 and FM Global Property Loss Prevention data.

It is the intent of American Records Management to prevent any fire in it’s records center through safe practice procedures. We have determined that an early warning fire detection system will further reduce the potential of a fire. The fire alarm / detection system is designed to provide early warning detection and alarm for the complete building. The system includes a 30 zone control panel, Smoke detectors, Heat detectors, Horns / Strobes and Fire monitoring by UL Central Station.
